Chandrayaan 2 | India's Moon Mission Launched From Sriharikota

Watch spectators gathered in the barrier island of Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh witness history in the making as India attempts its next space mission, Chandrayaan-2!
The Indian Space Research Organisation made its second attempt to launch a probe to the moon on Monday, 22nd of July 2019. The predecessor to Chandrayaan-2, Chandrayaan-1 was successfully launched on October 22, 2008, and landed on the Earth’s natural satellite on March 1st, 2009.
India is now one of a very short list of only five nations who have made visits to the moon via probes, including the USA, Russia (as the USSR), China and the European Space Agency. Congratulations, ISRO and India! Jai Hind!
