Confederation of Indian Industries organizes an H R Summit at Hyderabad

On 8-10-14 the Confederation of Indian Industries organized an H R Summit. It was very well attended by notable representatives and heads of the HR fraternity. Harpreet Singh, IT Secretary, Government of Telangana, said that Hyderabad annually produces 60,000 Engineering graduates, of whom only 25,000 get jobs. Much planning, to reach out for more graduates, is needed in the coming years and there is a huge opportunity to grow. The challenge is to make these graduates better. Telangana Academy of Skills and Knowledge, TASK, will focus on the Engineering graduates. In the IT Sector the job profile has changed and accordingly more skills are needed. The government knows this and is taking appropriate measures to improve their skills and standard. Measures to improve the employability quotient would be taken up in a big way.
