Pradesh. The prestigious MS Swaminathan Award, which is country’s
highest citation for undertaking outstanding work in the field of
agriculture, was jointly presented by the Retired Indian Council for
Agricultural Research Employees Association (RICAREA) & Nuzivvedu
Seeds, India’s leading Seed Company. The community of agricultural
scientists will be regarded as greatest benefactor. Two billion people
were saved in two generations because of the exceptional work of the
interventional scientists. These are some of the wonderful efforts by
the spectacular scientists. I appreciate the work done by Dr. N. Shoba
Rani, Principal Scientist & Head, Crop Improvement Section,
Directorate of Rice Research & Dr. Ramanujam Sai Kumar, Director of
Directorate of Maize Research, ICAR for their outstanding performance.
Best researches were done at multinational companies. I appeal to the
