Dr. K. Lakshmisha, General Manager (Agri &MSME), State Bank of
Mysore, Bengaluru, Karnataka. With a 29 per cent decline in the net
profit at Rs 116.15 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2012.
We have 3480 crores in Karnataka SBM for SME’s and we are planning to
increase it with another 50% under SME sector this year. State Bank of
Mysore has got 21 specialized branches for SME sector. Karnataka
government has classified 19 clusters in Engineering, food processing
etc. We also have brought a separate cell for SME’s. Total income of the
bank rose to Rs 5,594.82 crore for the year ended March, 2012, compared
to Rs 4,534.2 crore during the previous fiscal.
