Amita Desai, Executive Director, Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG),
Women’s March2012, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. Several
prestigious organizations such as Goethe-Zentrum Hyderabad, Alliance
Francaise of Hyderabad, Kalakriti Art Gallery, University of Hyderabad,
manthan etc., are getting together to celebrate International Women’s
Day for the fifth consecutive year. We are primarily here to celebrate
the women hood. We will highlight the issues, to spell out concern that
constitutes our life & culture through drama, literature, dance etc.
Apart from these sociological representations of the society, women’s
health etc., play vital role in the society. Women in India are leading a
very good growth & reaching to top position. This program is a
collective effort to change the society as women changed in lot of
issues.
