The idea of this conference is to exchange the new methodology of the treatments & share the knowledge between the doctors. This conference leads to good interaction between the doctors. The two-day workshop featured lectures, interactive sessions and debates on the latest trends in Interventional Cardiology involving Indian as well as global experts. The two-day workshop featured lectures, interactive sessions, and debates on the latest trends in Interventional Cardiology involving regional, national, as well as international faculty from Korea, Japan, Europe and the US. The workshop also opened up discussions on the epidemiology, risk factors, and management of heart diseases. About 500 general practitioners, physicians, cardiologists, fellows and interventional cardiologists from all over India attended the workshop. Live coronary, peripheral interventions and valvuloplasty procedures were performed at Yashoda hospital, Somajiguda and were relayed at the HICC where all the participants watched the procedures and interacted with the faculty. Doctors attending the workshop had the opportunity to watch and learn the most advanced techniques like Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS) and Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR) for the first time in Hyderabad.
