State Rural Development Ministers Meet on MGNREGS - Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme is implemented in 9 rural districts covering 443 Mandals. There are 100 crore person days generated with expenditure of Rs. 9,800. An average of 25 lakh households is provided with wage employment every year. 45% is registered for households and 95% are SC, ST and BC categories.
